Whenever I try to download something from a web page, FF do not seem to respond or show any sign of downloading. But later, the next day, the file will appear in the Download folder in Android. Sometimes multiple instances of the file appears (with filename suffix 1, 2 etc.), probably representing how many times I tried to download the file.

I am using an addon to get the Save option from the longpress context menu. Save Link Menus 0.2.1.

Either this addon or FF itself is doing this crazy thing.

Is there a workaround? Do FF has downloading feature on its own? So that I do not have to use this add on.

Downloads are managed by the Android operating system. Please check the options there.

Please also take note that the app does ask for permission to download files without notification.
