I set up thunderbird to archive important emails on btinternet mail. For some reason the in box and 5 of the 8 folders transferred perfectly , the 3 others nothing transferred. i have deleted account and redone process three times and always the same thing. All folders are the same type, i.e. not sub folders. No information from the missing folders has appeared in the folders that successfully transferred. Can I transfer the others manually? i am no computer expert so will need step by step guide if anyone can help.

You need to contact btinternet support and ask them how to import the email to your thunderbird. There's probably something different on their site that thunderbird can't capture to make a correct save. And this should be posted to Thunderbird forum.
