why does tap on address bar load bookmarks/ history/ top sites?
I have my home and new tab pages set to about:blank for a reason. Why do i need extra unexpected behaviour other than displaying keyboard when address bar is tapped to center focus on it?

No problem if you wish to change this behaviour and hopefully i can help.
- From the Firefox for Android home screen, tap on the three dot icon.
- Select Search and scroll down
- Deselect Show search suggestions and Show search history
I hope that this helps.
Ah, thank you for the suggestion, but these options are already deselected.
I expect this is normal behavior now, and something i will simply get used to.
