Hello guys,

trying to install firefox in window 7 64 bit, but getting an error, when I am downloading the installer and trying to install then getting an error which I have attached in the screenshot,

and when I try to download firefox from third party website then it just shows a black or white screen without any URL bar, just shows a header bar with firefox name that's it.

You should only install Firefox from the official Mozilla server to avoid getting a version with malware.

Boot the computer in Windows Safe Mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen or hold down the Shift key) to see if that has effect.


Do a malware check with several malware scanning programs on the Windows computer.

Please scan with all programs because each program detects different malware. All these programs have free versions.

Make sure you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.

You can also do a check for a rootkit infection with TDSSKiller.
