cannot install duckduckgo privacy essentials add-on
Running Firefox on Zorin 12 (Linux). Have tried to install duckduckgo privacy essentials add-on, but keep getting message to say the file cannot be downloaded because it is corrupted. I am not using a VPN to do so, so there's nothing "in the way". I've tried reading the various help files but confused by all the options and possibilities.

hi squarewindow, please see the banner at the top of the page - unfortunately there's a technical issue (failing addon signature verification) at the moment that's prohibiting the installation and in some case the usage of installed addons for firefox.
mozilla is working on a resolution, expect a fix soon. & sorry for the inconvenience...
Hi Philipp, thanks for that update, I hadn't noted the banner (thought it was an advert and ignored it!). OK I'll wait and see what happens.
