Hi

I use Firefox at work on 2 different computers. Firefox sync is unfortunately disabled and not an option.

Is there any way I can sync my bookmarks / profile between the 2 machines?

I do have access to Dropbox. Is it possible to use that to somehow sync the bookmarks between the 2 machines? Doesn't have to be in real time.

Right now I am manually exporting bookmarks and re-importing every time I switch computers.

Hi

The only other way you could sync without Firefox Sync would be to do what you are currently doing - taking a copy of your bookmarks and reinstalling them.

I understand, thank you for the reply. I was hoping maybe I could point the default location of where Firefox stores bookmarks to a folder synced by Dropbox or similar, but I guess that stuff is easier said than done. Thank you in any case!

Hi

Yes, that would be an idea, but moving files from within a Firefox profile while Firefox is open is not a great idea and can lead to data loss.
