can't import bookmarks from opera

I just downloaded Firefox 3.6. and attempted to import bookmarks from Opera 10.63 but I was not given Bookmarks option in drop down list only "Preferences" was a choice. I then exported the Opera Bookmarks from Opera to My Documents then tried to import from My Documents file but again Firefox will not give me an option to import from file, the only option I keep getting is "Preferences". Can anyone help?

Ok, I solved this myself. I exported bookmarks from Opera in HTML and saved this in My Documents. I then opened Firefox and clicked Import HTML. Located the file and clicked it. All bookmarks were copied to Firefox.
