I frequently open new tabs from a "master" tab and then close them down when I've finished. I want FF to return to the master tab on the left, but it always jumps to the next tab on the right. Is there anyway to make FF always jump to the tab on the left of the tab being deleted/closed?

Few solutions mentioned in this this mozillaZine.

But I opted for Tab Control instead.

Thanks shinryoku for the tips, the Tab Control answers the problem perfectly. Is there any functionality within Firefox itself to do the same thing? And could you please repost the mozillazine link as it failed when I tried to go to it? Thanks!!
