I am trying to open a website and this was the error message shown, I have cleared cookies, enabled my protection, but it won't open....please help Could not read chrome manifest file 'C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\extensions\{972ce4c6-7e08-4474-a285-3208198ce6fd}\chrome.manifest'.

You can ignore that error. That is a reference to the default theme that is stored in the omni.jar archive (omni.jar/chrome/toolkit/skin/classic).
Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
- Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
- Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
- Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

ITs an error that causes my computer to start flashing it needs a fix or i must install firefox from my win vista
same my vista starts flashing this must be fixed or i have to delete firefox
