At 3:29 est I received 2 email from a Mark Kemsley titled quotation jrhfexl which I opened. A few minutes later I tried sending an email and an error message showed saying that I had exceeded my quota. However I have only sent 1 email today. I checked my sent folder and I saw several emails sent from an electronic email address that I am unaware of. Has my email been hacked? If so what can I do about this problem?

Start computer in Safe mode and run scans for virus's, malware etc.

Then restart computer normally and logon to webmail and change password. You will need to update password in Thunderbird if it has been instructed to remember it.

Contact your ISP or Google etc depends on where the email account is with. Tell them your problem of exceeded quota and that someone has been using your email address without your knowledge. They may be able to see if it was from a different IP address from yours and offer more help.
