I will not repeat the problem except that YAHOO keeps installing, setting itself as default, cannot be removed.

NONE of the answers are either relevant or help.

Frankly I am so fed up with the problem and the inability of anyone to resolve this YAHOO VIRUS that I am on the point of removing Firefox for ever

Hello there,

  • On Firefox click the menu button and choose Options on Windows or Preferences on Mac or Linux, then select the Search settings panel.
  • Click on the magnifying glass icon in the Search bar, then click on Change Search Settings.

In the Search settings panel that opens, select a different search engine from the drop-down menu

Hope this helps!
