If firefox can load other websites but cannot load a specofic site,clear your cookies and cache.To clear cache n cookies follow this procedure.

Click the menu button Choose History and select Clear Recent History.... In the Time Range to clear: drop-down, select Everything. Click the arrow next to Details to display the list of items that can be cleared. Select both Cookies and Cache. Click Clear Now.

Please be more specific. Is this the only website not working ?Incase none of the websites work on firefox,check your firewall setting and let firedox access the internet in both private and public networks.

The shodhganga.inflibnet.ac.in didn't open for me as well at the time you posted, but is working for me at the moment, so it looks that this was a temporary problem and has been fixed.
