I have been encountering a weird issue with Firefox.

When I attempt to download a file from Sales Portal, the file gets downloaded with incomplete filename and without file extension (screenshots below).

However the download happens correctly on Google Chrome.

Is this because of a bug in Firefox and is there any update/fix/patch available?

What's the mime type/file extension?

First try to download it in safe mode to make sure its not an add on, then disable extensions. Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode

There is an update available, version 43.

The file does not have any extension :( Thanks, I'll try what you have suggested

This can happen if the server isn't configured properly and sends a file name with a space in an unsupported way.

You may be able to check this with the Live Http Headers extension.
