Shouldn't have allowed update. Kaspersky disabled. How do I fix this or go back to the old version?

Allowed Firefox to update this morning and it disabled my Kaspersky add-on. Contacting Kaspersky for a fix seems like a lot of trouble to get something working that worked before the update. If I could find a way, I'd simply go back to the version I had before the update. If this can't be fixed on your end I'll have to use another browser. Kind of a shame, I've used firefox for some time now and been pleased - up until now! Bill

hi, this can't be fixed on our end and downgrading would leave you open to many fixed vulnerabilities, which is far worse than a disabled addon which isn't even part of the core protection engine of your av-provider: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/security/known-vulnerabilities/firefox/

please get in contact with kaspersky in order to inquire how they'll make compatible versions for their extensions available - you are actually paying them for this service! the update cycle of firefox is known many months in advance, so this can't come as a surprise to any big developer like kaspersky...
