I tried starting it in safe mode but that crashes as well. It crashes within 10 seconds of opening.

A crash id is: bp-28eb7c20-86bc-4ea8-983f-aff502160202

As an FYI, Firefox is now crashing continuously as well. So everything Mozilla on my computer is crashing.

Sort of good news that Firefox crashes - then there's somewhat more chance of finding a solution. The bad news is I don't see any solution in the wind, except to say on the surface this appears to be audio related.

https://crash-stats.mozilla.com/report/index/28eb7c20-86bc-4ea8-983f-aff502160202 is @ mozilla::widget::AudioSession::StopInternal with one bug report https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=910813

Most other THunderbird crash reports are NOT during startup https://crash-stats.mozilla.com/report/list?product=Thunderbird&signature=mozilla%3A%3Awidget%3A%3AAudioSession%3A%3AStopInternal#tab-reports

Thoughts?
