The answer to your first question is currently there is no option for rename bookmarks on Firefox for iOS. And yes, Mozilla has created a separate adblocker for iOS. Which is called Focus. You will find it on the app store: https://itunes.apple.com/app/id1055677337

Focus works as an ad blocker with Safari, but I don't use Safari as my default iPhone browser. I use the Firefox browser so I need an ad blocker for Firefox, not Safari. Since posting this question I have installed the Dolphin iPhone browser, which has it's own ad blocker and pop up blocker. Thanks anyway for replying

Inside the Firefox for iOS menu, you will find the options for built in pop-up blocker. Also from my experience, Focus doesn't block ads which don't track users. May be Firefox for iOS has some built in settings for that, not much sure because it is still a primitive product.
