Missing Menu Icon

I have a Blu Vivo XL and I am unable to access the menu in firefox. I do not have a physical menu button and no long press will bring it. Is there a work around or setting in about:config that forces the menu? Who do I need to beg to hard code the menu option in the about:config for weird phones that dont have menu buttons but firefox thinks they do.

The solution for weird phones should arrive in Firefox 45 for Android, currently available in the Play store as Firefox Beta:

I don't know how to transfer settings from the non-beta version to the beta version, but hopefully someone else know the best way. Or if you don't really have any settings to transfer, you could just give it a try.

I can try that, do I need to enable something in 45 or will it just work. Any word on when that will be pushed to mainstream?

I haven't tried it myself, but it might just be the new normal to have it displayed whether Android says it has a hardware button or not.

I think Firefox 45 will go final next month.
