Firefox crashes while browsing aol.com
I have an early 2011 17" MacBook Pro with dual graphics. I experience frequent Firefox crashing when browsing aol.com. The crash sometimes triggers a restart of my MacBook Pro. I have tried turning off hardware acceleration and webgl but still get the crashes. They seem to be random, sometimes when clicking on a video, sometimes clicking on a link, and sometimes just as I start scrolling a page. I have two other MacBooks which I keep synced with Firefox Sync which have no problems. I have the same extensions, plugins, user settings, and Mac OS; the main difference is the graphics changing setup of this MacBook Pro. I have tried to copy latest crash report:

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.
A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh).
Is the problem still there?
FredMcD, This is the list currently there.
As for further clarification on the site, here is the link I have bookmarked: http://w.main.welcomescreen.aol.com/
Thanks for your help

From the crash report, I think the problem is with the graphics processing unit (GPU)
See if there are updates for your graphics drivers https://support.mozilla.org/kb/upgrade-graphics-drivers-use-hardware-acceleration
I was hoping for a different workaround since I have got the latest software, including drivers, from Apple. I tried turning off hardware acceleration and disabling weggl but the crashes have continued, strangely only seem to have them on aol.com. I have tried both Safari and Chrome and neither of them have crashed but I just don't like using them. I tried turning off graphics switching on my Mac today and Firefox didn't crash although the temperature went quite a bit higher, 170 - 190 degrees, during my browsing. I turned the fans higher to cool it down some. Thanks for your time and effort P.S. I think I began having this problem in Firefox 43. For a while I kept version 42 on but have since went with the latest version. I don't have a clue what kind of changes in Firefox could be involved.
