Hi, open bookmarks in Firefox > Show All Bookmarks > Import and Backup > Import Data from Another Browser, and see if Safari is there. If not, open Safari, and in bookmarks, look for something like Export Bookmarks to HTML, and save to somewhere convenient on your Mac.

Now open bookmarks in Firefox > Show All Bookmarks > Import and Backup > Import Bookmarks from HTML.

More: Import data from another browser.

If your question is resolved by this or another answer, please take a minute to let us know. Thank you!.

Safari will not open (it flashes on the screen then disappears). It does not appear within Firefox anywhere. I can only get as far as Show All Bookmarks - Import Data fro Another Browser does not appear either (only Imported IE Favorites). I'm stuck still!

If Safari won't open, that's a whole different ball game which is better addressed in a Mac forum -

It is just possible that you might be able to copy the bookmarks to Firefox's Profile folder from Mac, but that depends on the type of file that Safari uses so I'm not hopeful. I suspect that your best bet is to get Safari working, then follow the advice I originally posted.

Thanks for all your efforts on my behalf. Will try via Safari as you suggest.
