I want to see if my gmail message to recipient has been opened

more options

I'm using gmail but do not want to install chrome. Is there a setting in firefox that I can use to see if the recipient has opened my message. I'm sending to a group and want to know who is actively reading my messages.I'll need to know how I get into firefox to make the change.

As far as I know, the user needs to install an app in Google Chrome to have that feature. I'm not sure if an extension / add-on is available for Firefox.

But Gmail does have that feature - see these pages: https://www.everettcc.edu/files/administration/college-services/information-technology/google/gmail-return-receipt.pdf

This is a support forum for Mozilla Firefox. You will have to contact your e-mail provider for help. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/problems-with-email-how-to-find-help

Some providers have that option.
