Why Firefox hides cookies linked with NewTab thumbnails?

Problem. It looks like Firefox stores all cookies from sites linked on NewTab thumbnails. You can check this with CCleaner. These cookies does not show in Options/Privacy/ShowCookies. CookieAutoDelete extension ignores these cookies too. In my case main spying sites cookies never can be deleted from Firefox (CCliner boring). Empty NewTab does not help.

Vald lösning

Go to about:config, and create a new boolean pref:

browser.pagethumbnails.capturing_disabled

and set it to true. You might need to restart the browser for this to have the intended effect.

Thanks for good trick. But I think many users do prefer control all cookies in Options/Privacy/ShowCookies
