why did you rearrange all of my bookmarks putting the most important ones at the bottom(with no way move them)?
i have the latest version of firefox. when i go to my bookmarks they've been rearranged with the most important ones, the pages that i visit most often, at the bottom. so, now i'm having to do MORE CLICKING and MORE SCROLLING to get where i want to go. is this supposed to be an improvement? also, when i try to manually rearrange my bookmarks back to where they were before, they're now locked in place. i want my bookmarks back the way they were before.

Try updating to 57.0.1 : https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/update-firefox-latest-version
No idea how they were before. Are you using the 3 Bar Menu, the Side Bar or from Firefox Menu Bar at the top or (1 more). Suggest mouse to top of the Browser to a empty spot and Right Click and Click Menu Bar. From here it is the easiest to use and to arrange.
Bookmarks _-> Show All Bookmarks --> Views you have all sorts of options to arrange your Bookmarks
You can also right Click when in the Main Bookmarks and Sort By Name.
If these things are not working for you please : uninstall Firefox. Then Delete the Mozilla Firefox Folders in C:\Program Files and C:\Program Files(x86) Then restart system. Then run Windows Disk Cleanup. Then run it again and click the button that says Cleanup System Files. Note: your Firefox Profile is saved. But you should make a back up before you do : https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/back-and-restore-information-firefox-profiles
Reinstall with Current Release Firefox 57.0.1 with a Full Version Installer https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/

You can add the "Bookmarks Menu" button that shows the bookmarks in a drop-down list to the Navigation Toolbar via these steps:
- click the bookshelf icon on the Navigation Toolbar or alternatively use the Library menu in the "3-bar" Firefox menu button drop-down list
- click Bookmarks
- click "Bookmarking Tools", then click "Add Bookmarks Menu to Toolbar"
You can also drag the Bookmarks Menu button from the Customize palette to the Navigation Toolbar
