VERY recently, the column that has forever shown icons for Replied, Replied All, Forwarded, is missing. The list of available columns contains nothing to restore that column. Please see screenshot. The magenta circle indicates where the missing column used to be, for all the years I have used Tbird. Windows 7 SP1 Tbird configured as POP/SMTP (NOT IMAP) Thank you.

Well, color me blush, as in sheepish. That semi-invisible column is indeed there, so I guess I cried wolf. But I swear I did not see any Reply arrows earlier today. Please excuse my jumping the gun.

The icons don't have their own column. They are (IIRC) prefixed to the subject line.

The images used are actually provided by the current theme, so in your case I'd start by checking that the theme hasn't mysteriously changed.
