I have hundreds of bookmarks for The Makaton Group and want to get rid of all of them. Don't know how they were created.

I also have hundreds of bookmarks for MileIQ and again, I have no idea how or why they were created. I have repeatedly tried to delete them singly or by using the CTRL key, but it won't let me do that and none of them are deleted. I really need help. How can I just get rid of ALL my bookmarks and start fresh?

That is going to the extreme. You may want to figure out how these got there so it does not happen again. It looks like it is something you installed that has some sort of dashboard function. Suggest Search for Programs & Features (yes it is still in there) and go through your program list for MileIQ and uninstall it.

Just in case, you can always edit a Bookmark.html file in Notepad. Beware of folders as does not edit those well.

Would think you can make a blank bookmark in Notepad as well. Just make sure you open File Explorer or a Folder and in the menus you check show hidden files and and show extensions and save the not new notepad as bookmarks.html and make sure it does not have hidden .txt at the end.

If you do not care about your history, sessions or tabs, and know what extensions you have running you can create a new Profile and switch to it.
