Hi, ixquick.com is using https://www.startpage.com/ I would suggest use it instead.

What security Software are you running please ?

There is security software like Avast/AVG, Kaspersky, BitDefender, ESET sometimes Mcafee that intercept secure connections and send their own certificate or just generally block Firefox.

It could also be your Ghostery, Adblock Plus
