I upgraded to 51.? in Aug and my bookmarks disappeared. Tried to restore (lib/bookmarks/restore, but no file available. I created a new bookmarks toolbar. I upgraded to 52 the other day, and again, all my bookmarks disappeared. Again tried to restore from file, but the only available file was the one I'd created the other day.

What's happened?

Hi, would think there is some corruption with the files if it keeps getting lost like that. Probably in the Profile since is bookmarks.

You have your backups :

Once have backups please do Refresh :

Suggest use just your bookmarks maybe saved passwords in your Profile which is backedup and will also be in a folder on your desktop called oldfirefoxdata after the Refresh.

Or you can just take screenshots of your passwords.
