How do I restore folder data for a POP account that was accidentally removed?

I accidentally removed a POP email account, not realizing that it would also remove all the associated folders I'd created (yes, I'm aware that this was a moronic assumption now). I restored the account and was able to find the profile and move it back into the specific email account, but while all the folders appear, none of the contents are there. Is there any way to retrieve the folder contents from my local drive?

Use the add-on to import mbox files from the relevant account folder in the mail folder of the profile in question. (import will be to a location you have created under local folders. So when importing don't include that in the folders to be searched. an endless loop that has to end in some sort of error is the best that can create.
