Can you reproduce your issue in a fresh profile and in safe mode. See How Troubleshoot and diagnose Firefox problems for the instructions.

Also, could you provide more information on your Firefox and Operating System version.

Thank you Danny. This is actually a co-workers issue and I was assuming hotkeys could be remapped easily. I let them know that the hotkey could not be changed and that I would have to run some tests when I have some time.
