You can check media*autoplay prefs like these:

  • media.block-autoplay-until-in-foreground = false

Note that services.sync.prefs.sync.<pref> prefs are about syncing prefs to other devices and best is to leave such prefs alone unless you do not want to sync the specified pref.

thanks for the answer, change the parameter to false, but it still continues without playing the video when it is in the background

There is an add-on for YouTube and Vimeo to prevent the sites from detecting that their tab is in the background, so they don't pause the stream. If the video is playing on one of those sites, you could take a look:
