The solution provided there only applies to the desktop version.

There should be a way to see the date/time of a previous website visit (from the history) in the Android (or other phone OS) version, but I can't find it. What am I missing?

This is currently unavailable in Firefox for Android, but it is something that may be included in a future update. You can follow progress on this and leave comments at https://github.com/mozilla-mobile/fenix/issues/11788
