"Gah" Tab Crashes and Spontaneous Shutdowns
Have been experiencing frequent "Gah" tab closures and unexpected Firefox shutdowns lately which require "Restore Now" action. Am running latest version of Firefox on Win10 desktop which is updated religiously. Have run Task Manager which indicates no activity higher than a Medium rating. Interestingly, while I experienced a couple of tab closures this morning, they are predominately later in the day and on occasion I need to reboot the system to get Firefox operating. Hopefully there is a relatively simple fix for this issue. Thanks.

I have done most of the recommended checks and have continued to experience Gahs and Firefox shutdowns. In fact, Firefox totally shut down while I was typing this response and I had to start over! I did change the acceleration settings as directed so need to see if this works.
Were there any crash reports?
In the address bar, type about:crashes<enter>.

Thanks again, Fred. Yes, I did run the report report. I have also included Unreported if that helps.

The Unsubmitted reports were not sent to the Mozilla servers. But don't worry about it. They are almost a month old.

MemTest LAST UPDATED : 12/04/2020
Could you please run a tool from http://memtest.org/
in order to check the integrity of your RAM?
You will need a thumb or disk drive to install it on.
Do you let Windows handle the page file or did you set a fixed size ?
Control Panel -> System -> Advanced -> Performance -> Settings
If you use a fixed size for the page file then try the former and let Windows handle the page file. How to determine the appropriate page file size for 64-bit versions of Windows {web link}
Sorry. Lots of downloadable files on http://memtest.org/. Which do I download and will it ask to where?
I have never used it. Check its webpage.
Did not realize that clicking on the Crash Reports would give a detailed description! Something else I learned.
I ran both the internal Windows Memory Analysis app as well as Memtest and both determined that memory is fine. However, I do wonder why you would recommend running Memtest if you had not personally used it?!
Per your rec, also reset how the page files are handled.
Will probably run MemTest and other recs on second desktop running Firefox on the chance...
Proof will be in pudding, i.e., no more Runtime Errors. Fingers crossed.

Others who have used the program discovered bad memory that they then replaced.
