Bookmarks always start at the root folder, any way to change that?

I only recently made the switch (back) to Firefox, from Chrome, both on my PC and my Mobile device. While I have no real complaints, there is one nit-picky thing that I havent found a way to solve yet, on mobile.

Namely, as per the title, when opening my bookmarks menu it always starts at the root folder, meaning I need to dig through multiple of my sub-folders to get where I want (e.g. Desktop Bookmarks > Bookmarks toolbar > University > Biotech). Is there a way to make it, that the folder I was last in is kept open, so to speak? Its annoying to need to go through all the folders again and again, when I am searching for a certain quote or similar things by opening the bookmarks.

E.g. Desktop Bookmarks > Bookmarks toolbar > University > Biotech > Source 1, not what I was looking for, Desktop Bookmarks > Bookmarks toolbar > University > Biotech > Source 2, also no, Desktop Bookmarks > Bookmarks toolbar > University > Biotech > Source 3, and so on. If, in this case, I could just be in the Biotech folder every time I open the bookmarks menu, that would help avoid this tedium immensely, cause I would only need to navigate to the folder once. That is the way that Chrome acts/acted on mobile, and I find myself missing that function.

Is there a way to get my Firefox to act like this?

Hi

There is no way to change this at present as it is linked to the way that Firefox Sync operates. This might be something that is reviewed in a future update.
