Linking Thunderbird Calendar with Google Calendar

more options

My primary calendar is on Google Calendar. My primary email is on Thunderbird. Sometimes people will send me a calendar invite to my T'bird email, and if I click on an option in the invite to link it to my calendar it ends up on a T'bird calendar that I almost never look at. Is there some way to link the T'bird calendar to the Google calendar so they will share entries and I can see everything from the T'bird calendar on my Google calendar?

Is your Google calendar synced in TB as a CalDAV calendar? Is the account that receives invitations the same as the account associated with the Google calendar, under Properties?

@sfhowes

I have a related problem. I work for a company that uses Google enterprise wide. My calendar is set up as CalDAV. TB is not pulling all my subscribed calendars over. I tried it with Provider. It pulled all my subscribed calendars over and I thought I was done. However, that method strips attendees out of event invites.

So, TB with Provider = all calendars, no attendees. TB without Provider = only my calendar, can have attendees.

Any thoughts sir? Would ICS be better?

Thank you

PS: I just tried with ICS and that was no joy. Side note, when I click on a received invite to accept from within TB email it opens Google Calendar web UI to accept it.
