Firefox keeps sorting Toolbar bookmarks into alphabetical order even though View is set to unsorted.

I like to keep Bookmarks in a particular order, not alphabetical, but Firefox keeps sorting them alphabetically. View is set to Unsorted.

"Views -> Sort" is only for viewing purposes in the Library (similar to clicking a column on the header bar), it doesn't actually sort bookmarks. You can only sort bookmarks in a folder if you right-click this folder.

If the bookmarks get sorted in places other than the Views menu in the Library then you likely have an extension causing this.

The sorting in a 'recent' type list is always sort by time with the newest on top as this is the result of a query.
