Removing my firefox account from a device I no longer own.

more options

I have recently left a job. I was given a laptop with that job. I have forgotten to remove the sync from that laptop. I no longer have access to that laptop.

I can see that it is still synced with this account.

I can find articles telling me how to un-sync the device if I control it, but not if I don't.

How do I remove that device from my account without accessing it or completely deleting my account?

Thank you

When you go into https://accounts.firefox.com/ and look at your connections/devices, are you able to disconnect it there? If it keeps reconnecting, you may need to change your password (without resetting it!!).

Unfortunately, Firefox Sync doesn't have a remote wipe feature, so whatever was left on that PC remains there even if it is disconnected from your Firefox Account. You might need an IT person there to purge your Firefox data for you.
