When I write a message in Thunderbird email, and I use the 'enter' button, it automatically double-spaces between each line instead of just one space between lines. I can't find anything to fix this. I want single spacing in my emails and I will provide the double spacing by entering it twice.

Hello

I did not know the answer to this question (I write my mails in text mode), but I can't fail to notice in the 'see also' to rhe right of your post, this :

My emails have 2 paces between each line of text, how can I go back to 1?

Clicking on it, it leads to:

seems relevant.
