I have my TB email on the C: drive, which is an SSD. I would like to have archives stored on the D: drive, which has lots of free space.

  • 1. Moving existing archives would be nice....
  • 2. Future archives stored on D: is most critical.

I've asked before and not gotten an answer (at least one that I can act on). Any help appreciated.

Well, I still think my suggestion from last year is still viable and easy to implement. However, not my call. Another option to consider is that you could write a filter and tick the Archive box and set a rule such as any date prior to 2000 and use the filter periodically to empty the archive. Waiting/hoping for Thunderbird developers to create that might never happen, so workarounds seem best.
