I have installed the newest version of Thunderbird (115.5.2.) and can not open my profile. The Error message: A newer version of Thunderbird may have made changes to your profile which are no longer compatible with this older version. Use this profile only with that newer version, or create a new profile for this installation of Thunderbird. Creating a new profile requires setting up your accounts, calendars and add-ons again

But i have the newset version installed.

This message can also appear if you had previously downloaded a beta version.

I never had a beta version installed. One follow question. How can i find out which version my profile needs?

If this is a fresh install, I suggest uninstalling, and deleting the thunderbird folder at c:\users\<yourid>\appdata\roaming\ and starting over. My guess is that a profile is there from some prior experience.
