how do I make the last Bookmark I went to be highlighted in my bookmarks when I go back to bookmarks

using internet explorer when I click on a favorite or bookmark, and go to that page then I want to go to another bookmark so click on favorites again and on my list the last one I clicked on will be highlighted. Thar way I know where i was last so can work my way down a list. Using Firefox I go to a favorite then click on favorites again and the list opens, but there is no indication of which one you were just on.

How do I get my last link to be highlighted in Firefox like it does in explorer

Sorry, that is not a Firefox feature. If you close the Bookmarks Sidebar the highlight goes away.
