If you're getting this error, chances are that you're using the ActiveX-based "High Interactivity" mode of Siebel.

You can switch to the "Standard Interactivity" mode (which will work with Firefox) by setting "HighInteractivity=FALSE" in the Siebel uagent.cfg file.
