need the History "tab" that was prevoisly in between the "last page" and the "next page" arrows. Where did it go-I used that feature all of the time. the "history" options does not work that way.

I am trying to find the "history option, that was always between the back and forward button. I use that a lot for eBay. where did it go.

To save space the downward pointing triangle was removed and you now right-click or click-and-hold the back button to get the history list.

There is an add-on if you prefer the downward-pointing triangle. I haven't tried it myself.
