On my OSX 10.4 MAC I get this message when I try to open 4.0.1 Foxfire that I downloaded; "You can not use this application "Foxfire" with this version of Mac OS X" WHY IS THIS HAPPENING????

FoxFire web site said that OSX 10.4 MAC desktop computers can use 4.0.1 Foxfire and that it can be downloaded from web site which I have done and tried more than once.

You are unfortunately out of luck with an Intel Mac and OS X 10.4.11.

There is a Firefox 4 compatible third-party version TenFourFox from www.floodgap.com for a PowerPC Mac, but no alternative for an Intel Mac.
