Restore bookmarks after uninstall

more options

Yesterday we changed internet service providers. They were unable to connect to the internet via firefox but were able to connect via firefox. We were advised to uninstall firefox and reinstall an updated version of it. It did not occur to us that all of the bookmarks would be erased. Is there a way we can recover this? I went throught the steps to "restore bookmarks but there are only "restores" for last night and today. Nothing previous. Is there any way we can recover the lost data on my mac? PLEASE?

  1. bring up Trouble shooting information from the Help menu, or by typing about:support into the location bar then pressing Enter.
  2. Click on the "Open Containing Folder" button on the report
  3. note the folder name, then up up one directory level to "Profiles", do you see additional profile directories there and do you find the information you are looking for in one of them.
