I start firefox but I just get google page. How can I get back to firefox?

I open firefox but it always gives me the google home page instead of firefox. the top left box says google. It used to say firefox and options if I clicked on it ,like printing an on line page etc.

Starting in Firefox 4, the home page changed to about:home but it is pretty easy to change. To set it back, you can use the Options dialog, General tab. This article has more information: How to set the home page | How to | Firefox Help.

Thanks for you help. I don't even know enough to get the right question. Sorry! I don't have an "options dialog". Can't get to a firefox sceen. and windows 7 general tab and options does not offer anything to do with getting firefox back. I'm opting out of this help method . Sorry to bother all. I think Google stinks.
