Thanks John - I hit the above link & see what's there. When I hit the registry link I see the registry statement. What do I do with that - copy & paste into RUN? Look up that key and modify? Wasn't sure what to do. Thanks

Hi Roy,

I use XP so things may differ slightly.
The first thing to do is ensure the Registry is backed up. It is rather unforgiving of mistakes. (Some especially XP users could find ERUNT useful)

In XP I can save the info from the bug attatchment link by using in firefox Ctrl+U and then saving as a unicode text file of any name, but ending with extension .REG <-CARE - such files are likely to modify the registry if you open them, that is their usual associated purpose.
Then run the file by for instance clicking it.
(The identifying string: Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 & blank lines are intentional and a part of the .reg file )

Alternatively I can use RegEdit.exe from the command line and find and modify the key.

John thanks. Question. I ran regedit and I can follow the key path to AccessManager. There is no MozHo and beyond. Is that what I should have expected?

Do I need to add the new key under AccessManager? Not 100% sure how to do that.

Thanks for any advice

John

Here is what I made the registry look like (screenshot supposed to be attached) but it still crashes at start-up. Something I'm doing in the string must be wrong - maybe that last filename entry? Any insight
