After updating to firefox 8.0 I found that my greasemonkey updated as well. Greasemonkey 0.9.8 says it is supported by FireFox 8 but yet when I try to install it downloads it all and then says that it is not supported.

I know many will say the fix is to just use a newer version but the script I am trying to run only works properly with 0.9.8. I have to refresh every page for it to work properly with newer versions.

I am running Vista 64 bit. Currently running FireFox 7.0.1 as it runs greasemonkey 0.9.8 but would like to be able to run FireFox 8.

As I posted in the first post the script only works properly with 0.9.8. Any newer version of greasemonkey does not work correctly with the script.

All newer versions you must refresh the page every time in order for it to work.
