Safe browsing does not seem to work using a google image search. Photos that should be blocked aren't?

We have noticed on our network that Mozilla users doing Google image searches can by-pass safe browser settings for our Iron Port (web filtering software) as well as the "strict" setting in Mozilla itself and do "naughty" searches that produce graphic images. Safe browsing appears to work when we test it in IE. Suggestions?

hello mashley, i'm not aware of any "strict" setting in firefox that would prohibit searches of that nature - maybe google offers a safe search mode but you can likely circumvent that by clearing / altering cookies that store this information.

i have no knowledge of iron port and how its filtering techniques hook into network traffic, but you'd likely have to contact their support in order to find out why it's not working as intended in your configuration.
