I want to block images from showing when I open a web page
Firefox used to block images on websites, I can't figure how to set that up now. Is this still possible? I am tired of my sons being bombarded with advertisements with inappropriate images. Please help me fix this. I switched from Chrome because I was told this was possible on Firefox. If it's not I have no need to switch. Thanks

This did not solve my problem. It was already set to "1" block all images. And images still show. Any other suggestions?

Disabling the display of web images is one of the features of this extension.

This did not help. Images still show. Some are gone, but not all. Thanks anyway.
Hello,
Try go to about:config and search for permissions.default.image change its value to:
0 - show all images
1 - block all images
2 - block third images
