I'm looking for a Gmail notifier with sound. Just a pop-up isn't enough for my needs. I'm using Windows 7, Firefox, and igHome. Gmail is open, at all times, in a pinned tab. Please note, the notifier must have sound notifications. Thanks for any help.

This one does wonders for me https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/gmail-notifier-restartless/?src=userprofile

Gmail does not have to be open on a tab. But Firefox has to be running. Add-on has enough settings to customize it to your liking.

Perhaps not for you but there is also a nice calendar add-on available for Google Calendar.
