'Auto resize image' 'Settings' dialog box controls
I have a signature that contains an avatar image (size 120px by 120px) Every time I 'Send' an 'Auto Resize Image' > 'Settings' dialogue box pops up How can I bypass this as its becoming annoying. Most emails (98%) do not contain any other embedded or attached images. This only started to happen after upgrading to latest version of Thunderbird, was never an issue before.
Chosen solution
Doesn't sound like a standard Thunderbird pop up as I've not come across it.
Do you by any chance have an addon /extension such as Auto Resize Image?
if yes, disable it and retest to see if message stops. Check you are using an up to date version. check to see if there is some settings you can use to 'not ask again' or similar. Can't say exactly as I do not use it.
I use the standard TB settings to adjust for sizing when I originally insert an image.

Have resolved the issue by going to 'Auto Resize Image' > 'Settings' > 'Image' and changing the Image Filters to skip images whose size of the source is fewer than 256Kb AND more specifically 'Auto Resize Image' > Settings' > 'Interactive mode', 'Trigger criteria'. Ticked the 'Skip interactive mode for images with these maximum dimensions'. Maximise dimension reset to 240px, (it was set at 120px which was the avatar Image resolution) Thanks for your help
